THE CHALLENGE
The customer desired his new custom home to be well-insulated against the extremes of Fresno’s sizzling summers and cold winters, and to minimize the passage of sound from room to room through walls.
THE PROCESS
By applying Gaco-fil polyurethane foam into all wall cavities and ceiling areas, Barrier technicians created a seamless envelope that surrounded the entire house.
THE RESULT
The foam envelope effectively insulates the home’s living quarters from the outside climate, keeping the indoor environment comfortable year-round. Additionally, the foam in the wall cavities substantially deadens all sounds.
